Senior Technical Salesforce Consultant (Full Remote)

What will be your role?
Making a transition into full cloud-based ERP, in which Salesforce and Oracle NetSuite play key roles. This is not only a technical transition, but also a business change process in which our Operating Companies move into standard business processes supported by a generic platform.

As Senior SalesCloud Consultant you are part of Business Systems Commercial team. Within this team you are the expert for SalesCloud. SalesCloud is used for Sales and Marketing tasks related to Opportunity to Contract process, as well as Order Management. Within Order Management we are using Salesforce to manage all orders before sending these to Netsuite for fulfillment. You will work closely with the Domain lead for the Order to Cash domain, and support change as well as operations within this domain. You will also work closely with colleagues from connected domains to make sure the end-to-end process works as expected and business can accelerate.

We have office locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Portugal and Poland but also active communities of colleague in other European countries. We are a remote-first company, in which occasionally travel is needed to work closely with colleagues onsite.
 

What are you going to do?

  • You are the expert that understands our implementation within SalesCloud and knows how to operate and improve.
  • You have end-to-end knowledge on our sales and ordering processes, and you are able to understand business problems and convert these into solutions that fit the objectives and architecture.
  • You are the go-to person for order management and contract management that is (or will be) implemented in SalesCloud. You understand the complexity of orders and contracts and how products, pricing, discounting and contractual conditions play a role.
  • You support the domain leads with in-depth knowledge on architectural, functional and technical level how SalesCloud can be improved.
  • You are in the lead for the delivery and end to end testing of solutions within the sales and ordering processes, which will mean you have to collaborate closely with other specialists (Netsuite, integrations)
  • You are responsible for Salesforce technical and functional documentation
  • You are responsible for operations and support of processes within SalesCloud, supporting first line support and step in from second line perspective in case the issue is complex and requires more knowledge.
  • You are responsible for knowledge sharing to make sure colleagues are capable of operating, supporting the system, as well as taking a role in the change processes (e.g. testing).

 

Your profile

  • Proven track record in Salesforce, with specific focus on SalesCloud.
  • You have in depth knowledge of CPQ.
  • Experience with order processes and contract management, where Salesforce has the role of Order Manager. Also experience with business processes supporting Sales and Marketing organizations in their contracting processes.
  • Application consultancy skills that support your work, like creating functional and technical designs that support business objectives and meet architectural guidelines. You are also a process-oriented thinker who can oversee end-to-end processes, and is able to connect the business objectives and process to technical solutions.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience, as a specialist or consultant within the Salesforce domain, preferably working with SalesCloud, ServiceCloud within business environments that use Salesforce as a central opportunity and order system.
  • Soft skills: customer focus, team player that is able to connect colleagues, strong communicative and analytical skills and result driven on technology delivery.
  • Fluent in English is a must.
