About the Manager Finance & Control vacancy
Our client is a rapidly growing Software Scale up that is a currently advancing to the next phase of. They expect tremendous growth in revenue, size and product market combinations in the next 3-5 years. Because of this they are entering a crucial phase where there are many challenges. They are looking for a Finance and Control manager who will take a seat in the MT as the person with final responsibility and who will supervise the next growth phase.
As Business Manager Finance & Control, you are "in control" of all financial and operational business processes within the organization. You create insight and calm, and based on your findings, you tell us what will best move our organization forward and what opportunities we will seize. This makes you our compass! As Business Manager Finance & Control, you have a pivotal role in our organization. You are a sparring partner and advisor for the MT in all financial matters. You think along with our business, solicited and unsolicited. You perform analyses, produce reports and monitor processes. You are responsible for preparing and monitoring our budgets and forecasts. You take care of the costing of our software, facility and human capital, but also of our investments, market opportunities, customer offers. With this information you advise the MT and the sales team in making strategic plans and decisions. You ensure that our growth is based on a plan. Whatever step we take, you know the financial and operational bottlenecks, risks and opportunities.
You will also be responsible for our business operations and ensure optimization of operational processes. This team organizes the financial administration, salary and HR administration, facility management, audit and quality management and the procurement process. For the execution of the daily activities you have support from three direct colleagues, whom you also manage. Together with the Manager Quality and Control, an administrator and the Office Manager you form a team in which you make the connection between the various disciplines and build the next step with them.
Who are you as Business Manager Finance & Control?
The Business Manager Finance & Control we are looking for is naturally analytically strong and incredibly accurate. For you it doesn't end with an analysis of figures, you look and think ahead and communicate with all stakeholders. You take initiatives and give solicited and unsolicited advice to the MT and sales team. You are critical and understand stakeholders and the overall strategic and tactical growth plan of the organization. Furthermore, you know how to empower people and you enjoy working with colleagues to achieve the best results.
In addition, you have anyway:
- A completed college or university degree in Business Economics, Finance, Controlling or Accountancy;
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience as e.g. (Business) Controller, Head of Administration or as Finance Manager;
- Experience in leading a team.
