Application Support Engineer / Application Administrator ERP

Due to retirement of the Application Support Engineer / Application Administrator, they have a new permanent vacancy. During your daily work for this position you will be responsible for managing, optimizing and maintaining the business applications and supporting the engineers, the users of the ERP system and the App. You have a keen eye for supporting, troubleshooting and improving business processes and ensuring that our software solutions seamlessly fit the operational needs of the company. Your business and ICT knowledge enables you to make the translation between the technical side of applications and the business needs. Hereby you are the spider in the web between internal users and external suppliers.
Your main duties include:
- Manage and optimize business applications including our ERP system Oracle Netsuite;
- Building reports in Excel
- Being the point of contact for questions and resolving technical issues;
- Analyzing and translating business processes into IT solutions;
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to optimize applications;
- Lead role in implementations of new applications and functionalities.
- Your permanent workplace is at the headquarters in Rotterdam, but a day from home is also possible.
Profile
You also possess:
- A completed MBO or HBO degree, preferably in Business Administration or Information Science;
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing and/or supporting a large enterprise application / ERP
- Extensive experience in improving ICT processes within ERP systems;
- In-depth knowledge and mastery of Microsoft Excel;
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude;
- A healthy resistance to stress;
- A solution-oriented and customer-oriented attitude;
- Good communication skills at all levels.
