Finance - IT Lead
This role will support the development of excellence organizational, communication and professionalism through the review and definition of processes which enable team to deliver work to high standards of compliance with Company Policy and Finance best practices. These processes will directly interface to corporate IT tools and systems, who is the key business partner for the role.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities.
- Partnering with the various locations to understand their local processes, how they interface with the Global tools and ensuring processes are designed for maximum efficiency.
- Develop Golden Process strategy that has a single approach for key processes within the ERP.
- Identify Single Source of Truths for ERP reporting that reduces multiple reports being used for the same purpose.
- Partner with the Business to ensure ERP is providing value to all levels and areas of the organization.
- Establish robust PMO structure for implementing changes within the ERP.
- Establish controlled approach for creating, changing and maintaining Master Data with ERP system.
- Serve as the Global Expert on Finance related processes across the organization, acting as an owner with the functioning of the ERP.
- Operate as the Key Business Partner for the VP of IT to ensure proper control and support of IT spend, allocations and asset utilization (ie license cost, IT investment spend).
- Partner with FP&A function to ensure harmony amongst Master Data and efficient reporting of data from ERP to Global Consolidation tool.
- Ability to function as a leader within the organization while driving results to realization.
- Comfortable motivating the organization to pursue change under the objective of efficiency improvements.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Business Administration or Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years experience in controlling/finance
- Experience as a Controller is necessary
- Minimum of 5 years experience in ERP tool functioning
- Experience working within an ERP's processes, including design and maintenance of those processes
- IT knowledge to best partner with the business.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with ERP is highly preferred
- Ability to work and communicate effectively across the organization
